About Pickett Construction, a Jacksonville Commercial Construction and Custom Home Builder
Steve Pickett of Pickett Construction is a graduate of the University of North Florida’s Building and Construction Management Program and has been constructing innovative commercial construction projects as well as luxurious custom homes within the construction industry for nearly 14 years. Wearing the hats of a Carpenter, Foreman, Superintendent and Estimator before serving as a Project Manager for a large commercial construction company, Steve has managed projects ranging from $2 million to $6 million, prior to forming Pickett Construction. In 2003, Steve achieved his Florida Certified General Contractors License and instituted Pickett Construction shortly after, building over $3.3 million in commercial construction and residential homes to date.

Steve is an active member in the National Home Builders Association (NHBA) as well as the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA). Dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of commercial and residential projects, Steve is also a Certified Green Professional (CGP) and incorporates Green Building practices in every aspect of building and construction.
Pickett Construction is OSHA 30 Hour Certified and boasts Zero Incidents on Jobsites for the past four years.
